This hands-on ceremony offers a meaningful opportunity to create a powerful tool for your own personal sound healing practice and ritual use.

Rattles are the *perfect* tool to help you break up stagnant energy in both your space and your body, often utilized to create a “chaotic disruption” and pattern reset which allows you to literally SHAKE IT OFF (whatever it is) and begin again with a clean slate.

These are typically the very first tools we reach for when facilitating our Sound Ceremonies or any type of energetic therapy work - because they help switch off the monkey mind, soothe anxious energy in the body, and they’re wildly effective when it comes to accessing and releasing the gunk you really don’t need to be walking around with…especially for those of us working to heal through womb-related trauma or chronic neck, shoulder, and back pain.

Rattles help us touch areas within the body and psyche which are typically “just out of reach,” - and it makes sense that the disordered noise they create allows us to mirror and work through similar disorder or unease in our own field.

Creative Care is the first curated workshop series of its kind, exploring the intersection of art, mental and emotional wellness, and seasonal alignment. Given the heartbreaking events we’re experiencing in our local community and as a collective these last few days, this offering geared toward stillness, rest, and rejuvenation couldn’t possibly come at a better time.

1/23 ✨ Snuggle up with us @saltoasis in the coziest healing salt cave around for an evening of Shamanic Sound led by @nico.zulu and @earthnbloom to soothe and support both your respiratory and nervous system. Again, SO TIMELY.

A lil bit of life lately…

• Today is our 12th anniversary?! Time fliiiiiies! 😭❤️‍🔥

• The cat distribution system has struck again and we’ve officially been adopted by another kitty! It’s a long story and our OG kitty daughter isn’t too pleased to welcome another lil bro into the family, but he is extremely insistent and literally won’t leave 😂 And also, we love him so it works out 🥹 Luckily they both seem to be sleeping just fine, as cats do.

• Family (both chosen and blood) has never felt more important. So grateful for this life and our people!

• Our children are rapidly growing into the funniest, quirkiest people on the face of the Earth. And also, parenting is weird and cool, and this will be our 4th year homeschooling which feels wiiild 🤪

• We’re all overcoming a brutal summer cold which has been totally LAME, but we’re finally regaining our spunk around here THANK GOD!

• We are hosting no less than SIX offerings this month sharing the regenerative power of sound therapy with our local community. Peep the deets and save yer seats! 🤠

• It’s been a long and beautiful summer full of play, and change, and chaos, and rest, and acceptance, and so many things…and NOW, we’re ready for fall!

Needing help doesn’t make you weak, it makes you human 😉

Society raised me to be a hyper-independent people pleasin’ “good girl.”

For sooo long (way longer than I’d like to admit) I felt shame for needing or wanting help or support. Like asking for support would immediately make me a burden to someone else, taking their attention or energy away from something more important.

As though somehow my desire for support meant I wasn’t good enough, or smart enough, or strong enough, or capable enough to do it on my own.

The last thing I ever wanted was to put anyone else out…but beneath that, I just didn’t want to admit that I needed or *wanted* anyone.

I had to be able to prove to myself I could do it all on my own, just in case the people I’d come to trust and rely on weren’t there for me one day.

Hello, childhood wounds? 🥲

It’s taken a long time not just to learn, but to truly KNOW *in my body* it is safe for me to ask for what I want and need - and more, there are people who are so genuinely happy and willing to be there for me.

In fact, people like to feel useful, and needed, and appreciated! And asking for support nurtures a level of connection and strength only born through our shared vulnerability and togetherness.

I was afraid to ask for anything because the very idea of needing someone else felt terrifying. But in reality, sharing these vulnerable, creative, collaborative parts of myself has granted me a new level of intimacy and depth in my relationships - and ironically, also helped me to strengthen a healthy sense of autonomy and trust in myself.

Besides, going through life *with* others is much better than isolating ourselves in the name of self-reliance, especially when all we’re really craving is cuddles and connection!

So I’ll say it again…needing help doesn’t make you weak, it makes you human 😌

We have more time to BE with one another, to watch our babies grow, to play. And we’re attracting community and clients who truly see and value what we have to share, and are eager to be a part of it!

This is one instance where less definitely *is* more - and we couldn’t be more grateful 😌

When you make the decision to do something…

When you take action toward your dreams and goals, however big or small…

When you move in the direction of your bliss, your curiosity, your yes…

Everything in all the world conspires to support you!

It sounds like one of those “too good to be true” kinda things,

But we experience it ALL THE TIME - with the big stuff and the little everyday things too.

And the more we pay attention, the more we notice…

When there is an abundance of favors, and blessings, and synchronicities which seem to materialize out of thin air,

When things seem to flow and align so seamlessly and organically…

We’ve learned to listen.

To take it as real-time guidance, nudging us toward the next best step.

This drum is a perfect example.

We snapped these photos intending to add them to our website, hoping this drum would find its forever home…

And within an hour or two, well before we’d even begun creating the product listing, we got a call from a dear friend of ours - and shortly after that, this drum was in her arms.

Some sweet moments from this weekend’s Drum Making Ceremony, birthday edition! 🥳🤲🏽✨

We are so grateful for the beautiful beings who came together with us on this special day - truly some high caliber humans.

The day was equally marked by moments of deep reverence, reflection, and presence…and also play, silliness, and so much laughter! The best combo!

We are infinitely thankful for the unique medicine brewed each time we get to hold space like this, witnessing everyone share their gifts, insights, and experience with such intimacy and intention.

The highlight of the day was definitely when the rain spontaneously came down at jussst the right moment and everyone held their hides up to be kissed by the blessed spring waters.

Such a beautiful thing to witness and the very best way to welcome a new season of growth and rebirth 🥹🙏🏽🌱

As much as we love surprises, you have got to LET US KNOW when you intend to join us for an offering or event so we can prepare and ensure we save space for you!

We’ve experienced both ends of the spectrum on this, with surprise guests appearing at already sold out events, as well as guests showing up unannounced last second to events we’ve needed to cancel or reschedule due to what appeared to be “insufficient enrollment” on our end.

But the really sweet thing is, both those issues are resolved when you *officially* sign up for our offerings on our site.

And if you ever have any issues or trouble signing up for whatever reason, reach out! We’re here and so happy to help ❤️

All that said, we have rescheduled our Inner Child Healing playshop for Tuesday, March 19th!

We’ll be gathering @unearthedwellnesscenter nestled in the beautiful foothills of Glendora for an immersive, experiential offering exploring a variety of different music + movement practices and techniques to help you connect to the spirit of your Inner Child through highlighting the importance of play, nervous system regulation, developing personal autonomy and self trust, expanding your intuition, and so much more.

In a world with so many guides, gurus, and people ready to tell you precisely what’s best for you, it’s important to maintain a sense of autonomy and authority over your own health, experiences, and beliefs.

While it can be helpful to have the guidance and support of others on your journey, the healers, practitioners, and professionals who credit themselves with YOUR healing or prefer you remain dependent on their presence, direction, or interpretation of what’s right for you can ultimately cause more harm than good - because they are not empowering you to take control of your own life.

SOMEONE WHO TRULY WANTS YOU TO HEAL WILL GIVE YOU THE TOOLS TO DO IT YOURSELF.
